GREYMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Footpaths Improvement Loan 1960, £5,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Greymouth Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £5,000 authorised to be raised by the Grey-
mouth Borough Council under the above Act for footpaths
improvement, the Council hereby makes a special rate of
0·1307d. in the pound on the rateable unimproved value
of all rateable property in the Borough of Greymouth; and
that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on
the 1st day of the months of February and August in each
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution duly passed by the Greymouth Borough
Council at its meeting held on the 1st day of August 1960.

MOISGIEL BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Mosgiel Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £33,000 authorised to be raised by the Mosgiel
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of providing stormwater reticulation and disposal
for the Dye Creek and East Mosgiel catchment areas of
the Borough of Mosgiel, the said Mosgiel Borough Council
hereby makes a special rate of one penny (1d.) in the
pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough
of Mosgiel comprising the whole of the Borough of Mosgiel;
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of April in each and every year during the
currency of the loan being a period of 30 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting
of the Mosgiel Borough Council held on the 1st day of
August 1960.

OTAGO ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING A SPECIAL RATE

General Extension Loan 1960, £75,000

In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Otago Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of
the principal, interest, and other charges on the Board's
General Extension Loan 1960, £75,000, authorised to be
raised by the Otago Electric Power Board, under the Local
Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of further
reticulating the Board's district, the Otago Electric Power
Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-
sixteenth of a penny (¹⁄₁₆ d.) in the pound on the capital
rateable value of all rateable property within the inner area
of the Otago Electric Power District (which includes portions
of the Counties of Bruce, Clutha, Tuapeka, Maniototo, Taieri,
Waihemo, Waikouaiti, and Southland, together with the
Boroughs of Balclutha, Kaitangata, Lawrence, Naseby, Pal-
merston, and Waikouaiti); and it is hereby further resolved
that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of the said General Extension Loan
1960, £75,000, or until the said loan has been fully repaid,
and the special rate be and the same is hereby appropriated
and pledged as security for the repayment of the said loan
and for payment of interest thereon and other charges under
the securities to be issued in respect of the said loan.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Otago Electric Power Board held on the 24th day of May
1960.

Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of

subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and
1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
