NOTICE CALLING FINAL MEETING

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Leo Blake (Wellington) Ltd. (in liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 281 of the Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at the offices of John Murphy, Prudential Building, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on the 29th day of August 1960, at 10 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.

Further Business:

To consider and if thought fit to pass a resolution as an extraordinary resolution, in accordance with section 328, directing how the books and papers of the company and of the liquidator shall be disposed of.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Bryant and Ballinger Ltd., a company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office in River Road, Hamilton, and carrying on business as importers.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 15th day of June 1960, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £9,000 to £500 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, was registered by the Assistant Registrar of Companies at Auckland on the 29th day of July 1960.

The said minute is in the words and figures following:

"The capital of Bryant and Ballinger Limited is £500, divided into 100 fully paid "A" shares of £1 each and 400 fully paid "B" shares of £1 each, having been reduced from £9,000, divided into 100 "A" shares of £1 each and 8,900 "B" shares of £1 each, all fully paid."

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL

THE BRYANT HOUSE TRUST BOARD ENABLING ACT 1960

NOTICE is hereby given that the Bryant House Trust Board intends to present a petition to the General Assembly of New Zealand at the ensuing session for leave to introduce a Private Bill the short title of which is as above.

The object of the proposed Bill is to empower the Bryant House Trust Board to transfer the whole of its assets to the D. V. Bryant Trust Board.

The Bill is promoted by the Bryant House Trust Board whose address for service is at the offices of Messrs MacDiarmid, Mears, and Gray, Solicitors, Wesley Chambers, Victoria Street, Hamilton.

A copy of the proposed Bill may be inspected at the above address.

BALCLUTHA BOROUGH COUNCIL

Waterworks Extension Loan 1956, £65,000

RESOLVED that application be made to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the raising of £65,000 for the purpose of water supply extensions for the flat or town area, Rosebank and North Balclutha.

The security for such loan shall be a special rate of 4·375d. in the pound on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Balclutha.

BOROUGH OF MANUREWA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manurewa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £12,500 authorised to be raised by the Manurewa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the sewer reticulation system of the Borough, the said Manurewa Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one two six pence (0·126d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Manurewa comprising the whole of the Borough of Manurewa; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Greerton Community Centre Loan 1960, £25,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a community centre for the County Town of Greerton, the said Tauranga County Council hereby makes a special rate of two-thirds pence (⅔d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Greerton Riding of the County of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Tauranga County Council held on the 1st day of August 1960.

EAST COAST BAYS BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £35,800 authorised to be raised by the East Coast Bays Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the completion of reconstruction and sealing of Knights and Carlisle Roads in the Borough of East Coast Bays, the said East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two eight five pence (0·285d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of East Coast Bays; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £8,500 authorised to be raised by the East Coast Bays Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the construction of a new traffic bridge at Beach Road, Torbay, in the Borough of East Coast Bays, the said East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought six five pence (0·065d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of East Coast Bays; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
