Land Taken for a Post Office and for Road in Block VI, Halswell Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a post office, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of August 1960.

FIRST SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 31·3 perches situated in Block VI, Halswell Survey District, and being part Lot 7, D.P. 54, being part Rural Section 1173; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W 772 (S.O. 9682) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

SECOND SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 3·9 perches situated in Block VI, Halswell Survey District, and being part Lot 7, D.P. 54, being part Rural Section 1173; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 772 (S.O. 9682) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 4th day of August 1960.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for post office purposes (transmitter station); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of August 1960.

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 73 acres 3 roods 2 perches situated in Block III, Campbelltown Hundred, being Section 37. All certificate of title, Volume 194, folio 71, Southland Land Registry.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a highway depot; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of August 1960.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XVI, Mangaparo Survey District, Gisborne R.D., described as follows:

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Peter Yerkovich, under and by virtue of deferred payment licence, Volume 956, folio 251 (Auckland Land Registry), is hereby taken for better utilisation; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of August 1960.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 13·05 perches situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, City of Auckland, Auckland R.D., and being Allotment 36, Section 7, Suburbs of Auckland. All Register Book, Volume 956, folio 251, Auckland Land Registry.

ALL that piece of land containing 13·4 perches situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Auckland, Auckland R.D., and being all the land on D.P. 9126. All certificate of title, Volume 224, folio 83, Auckland Land Registry.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Manawatu Catchment Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of August 1960.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 155 acres and 20 perches situated in Blocks VI and VII, Mount Robinson Survey District, Wellington R.D., being Lot 1, D.P. 11507, being part Rewarewa and accretion thereto, and part Section 51, Motoa Block. All certificate of title, Volume 517, folio 62, Wellington Land Registry.
