PAPAKURA DISTRICT SCHEME

PURSUANT to section 28 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 public notice is hereby given that, at the meeting of the Papakura Borough Council held on Monday, the 25th day of July 1960, the Papakura District Scheme was approved and will become operative as from the 15th day of August 1960.

Copies of the approved district scheme are available for convenient public inspection at the office of the Council and at the Papakura Public Library, East Street, Papakura.

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Wellsford Riding of the County of Rodney taken on the 28th day of July 1960 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £67,250, to be known as the Wellsford Water Supply Loan 1960, for the purpose of providing a water supply, including reticulation, for the County Town of Wellsford, resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ....... 193 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 18 The number of informal votes was Nil

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Subscriptions—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, payable in advance. Single copies available as issued.

The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon. The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

New Zealand Government Publications may also be obtained through the Chief Post Office at Dunedin.

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.
