At the Government House at Wellington this 13th day of July 1960

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the South Clutha Rabbit District Order 1960.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the South Clutha Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 30th day of June 1954,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE SOUTH CLUTHA RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing 95,300 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Section 1, Block V, Warepa Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along the northern and north-eastern boundaries of Runs 96A and 96 and the north-eastern boundaries of Blocks XI and X, Warepa Survey District, and the eastern boundary of Section 20, Block X aforesaid, to the Puerua River; thence generally westerly up the centre of that river to the eastern boundary of Section 15, Block X aforesaid; thence generally south-easterly along the eastern boundary of Section 15, the northern and eastern boundary of Section 25, and the northern and eastern boundary of Section 31, Block X aforesaid, to the northern boundary of Block III, Catlins Survey District; thence easterly and southerly along the northern and eastern boundaries of the said Block III to the north-eastern boundary of Section 53, Block IX, Glenomaru Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along the north-eastern and eastern boundaries of Section 53, the northern and eastern boundary of Section 54, the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 25, Block IX, the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 47, and the eastern boundary of Section 50, Block III, Glenomaru Survey District, and Section 45, Block IX aforesaid, the northern boundary of Section 45 aforesaid, and the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 32, Block VII, Glenomaru Survey District; thence northeasterly along the southern side of a road to the Balclutha-Papatowai Main Highway; thence southerly along the eastern side of that highway to its junction with Jones Road; thence generally south-easterly along the southern side of that road to the north-eastern corner of Section 37, Block VII, Glenomaru Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along the south-western side of a road to the south-eastern corner of Section 25, Block V, Glenomaru Survey District; thence south-easterly to and along a creek to its mouth in Tucks Bay; thence generally north-easterly and northerly along the high-water mark of the ocean to the mouth of the Koau branch of the Clutha River; thence generally north-westerly up the centre of the main stream of the Koau branch to a point in line with the southern boundary of the Borough of Balclutha; thence to and generally north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the Borough of Balclutha, as described in Gazette, 1955, page 1093, to the southern boundary of the Dunedin-Gore State Highway; thence generally north-westerly along that boundary to the centre of the Waiwera River; thence generally westerly and southerly up the centre of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 1, Block V, Warepa Survey District; thence easterly to the south-western corner of that section, the point of commencement. Including the adjacent islands situated in the Koau branch of the Clutha River, but excluding the island situated eastwards of Section 11, Block XVII, Clutha Survey District.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Wendonside Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 1st day of November 1950,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE WENDONSIDE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Counties of Southland and Vincent, Southland Land District containing by estimation 221,650 acres, more or less, inclusive of roads, railways, and streams and bounded by a line commencing at a point on the right bank of the Mataura River in line with the southern boundary of Nokomai Survey District and proceeding easterly across the Mataura River to and along the southern boundary of Nokomai Survey District to East Dome; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Nokomai Survey District to the south-western corner of Block I, Garvie Survey District; thence easterly to and across Dome Burn to the left bank thereof; thence north-easterly generally along the north-western boundary of Run 548 to its intersection with the western boundary of Rockyside Survey District; thence north-easterly and south-easterly along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Run 548 to the summit of the Garvie Range; thence north-easterly generally along the summit of the Garvie Range, being also the north-western boundary of Run 548, to the northern boundary thereof; thence south-easterly and southerly generally along the north-eastern and eastern boundaries of Run 548 to the left bank of the Waikaia River (east branch); thence to and along the left bank of the Waikaia River (east branch) to the left bank of the Waikaia River; thence south-westerly along the left bank of the Waikaia River to the right bank of Whitecoomb Creek; thence easterly along the right bank of Whitecoomb Creek to the western side of the Waikaia-Whitecoomb road; thence south-westerly along the north-western side of the Waikaia-Whitecoomb road to the right bank of Piano Flat Creek; thence northerly along the right bank of Piano Flat Creek to the left bank of the Waikaia River; thence south-westerly along the left bank of the Waikaia River to the right bank of Charcoal Creek; thence easterly along the right bank of Charcoal Creek to the eastern boundary of Run 548; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Run 548 to the northern boundary of Section 17, Block VI, Waikaia Survey District; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of Run 548 to the left bank of the Waikaia River; thence south-westerly generally along the right bank of the Mataura River at its confluence with the Waikaia River; thence north-westerly generally to and along the right bank of the Mataura River, to and across the Mataura River to the right bank thereof; thence northerly generally along the right bank of the Mataura River to the point of commencement.
