Notice of Intention to Destroy Public Records
PURSUANT to section 17 of the Archives Act 1957, notice is
hereby given of intention to destroy the following public
records:
Registrar-General of Births, Deaths, and Marriages
Internal Affairs Department files relating to registration,
1912-1932. These files include material on the appointment-
ment of Registrars of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, and
routine details relative to their work. There are also files
relating to accounts, allowances, and requisitions.
Any person may, within one month after the date of
publication of this notice, lodge with the Secretary for Internal
Affairs, Wellington, an objection to the destruction of the
records specified above, stating therein the grounds of his
objection. Such objections will be dealt with in accordance
with section 18 of the Archives Act 1957.

Declaring Land to be Subject to the Provisions of Part XXIV
of the Maori Affairs Act 1953
PURSUANT to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that, on and from the
date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land
described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the pro-
visions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Prices for Butter and Cheese Intended for Export
PURSUANT to section 16A of the Dairy Products Marketing
Commission Act 1947, the Dairy Products Prices Authority has
fixed new prices to be paid for all butter and cheese manufac-
tured from milk or cream delivered to a dairy factory in
the season commencing on the 1st day of August 1959, and
acquired by the New Zealand Dairy Products Marketing
Commission, pursuant to Part II of the said Act, at the several
prices and upon the terms, stipulations, and conditions follow-
ing, that is to say:

In the case of creamery butter to which is assigned one
or other of the following respective grades and which is
allotted points in grading within the range of the following
respective grade points under the Dairy Produce Regulations
1938—
(a) For “Finest” grade, 94 points or over, the price of
29·9825d. per pound:
(b) For “Finest” grade, 93 points or over but under 94
points, the basic price of 29·7950d. per pound:
(c) For “First” grade, 92 points or over but under 93 points,
the price of 29·6075d. per pound:
(d) For “First” grade, 90 points or over but under 92
points, the price of 29·2325d. per pound:
(e) For “Second” grade, the price of 27·7950d. per pound:
(f) For “Third” grade, the price of 23·7950d. per pound: -
In the case of whey butter to which is assigned one or
other of the following grades under the said regulations—
(a) For “First” grade, the price of 27·7950d. per pound:
(b) For “Second” grade, the price of 27·2950d. per pound: -
In the case of New Zealand waxed cheddar cheese to
which is assigned one or other of the following respective
grades and which is allotted points in grading within the
range of the following respective grade points under the said
regulations—
(a) For “Finest” grade, 94 points or over, the price of
18·6321d. per pound:
(b) For “Finest” grade, 93 points or over but under 94
points, the price of 18·5346d. per pound:
(c) For “First” grade, 92 points or over but under 93
points, the basic price of 18·3196d. per pound:
(d) For “First” grade, 91 points or over but under 92
points, the price of 18·2571d. per pound:
(e) For “Graded”, 88 points or over but under 91 points,
the price of 17·2446d. per pound:
(f) For “Seconds”, 87 points and under, the price of
14·5696d. per pound. -
The prices set out in paragraphs 1 to 3 Gazette notice,
Gazette, No. 50, 20 August 1959, page 1159, are amended
accordingly.

PURSUANT to section 7 of the Standards Act 1941, the
Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 23 June 1960, ap-
proved the recommendation of the Standards Council that
the under-mentioned code of recommended practice be
adopted:
