Woodbourne Aerodrome
In the matter of the Public Works Amendment Act 1935 and in the matter of the Woodbourne Aerodrome in the Marlborough Land District.
THE Minister of Works, pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1935 as substituted by section 8 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1956, hereby gives notice:
(a) That he prohibits absolutely the erection, placing, or extension of any dwellinghouse or of any building to be used or adapted for human habitation on the land described in the Schedule hercto:
(b) That the said land may be used only for farming subject to the following conditions and restrictions:
(i) That no plantations shall be planted on the said land within a distance of 1,090 ft of any explosives storehouse, except fruit trees, which may be planted not closer than 170 ft to any explosives storehouse provided that any such fruit trees shall be widely spaced and kept clear of undergrowth;
(ii) That no weedkiller shall be applied to the said land so that it shall fall within a distance of 170 ft of any explosives storehouse;
(iii) That no haystacks or woodpiles shall be built on the said land within a distance of 170 ft of any explosives storehouse;
(iv) That no fire shall be started on the said land within a distance of 500 ft of any explosives storehouse and that any fire started on the said land beyond that distance shall be kept under proper control by the occupier or occupiers of the land on which it is started.

Extending a 30 Miles Per Hour Speed Restriction

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
That the Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* dated the 25th day of May 1959†, which relates to the road formerly known as the Northcote Main Highway No. 877, in Northcote Borough, is hereby revoked.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
