Declaring Lands in Hawke’s Bay, Marlborough, and Canterbury
Land Districts Vested in the Hawke’s Bay and Canterbury
Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested
in Her Majesty the Queen

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection 6 of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto,
being an area vested in the Hawke’s Bay Education Board,
and the lands described in the Second and Third Schedules
hereto, being areas vested in the Canterbury Education
Board as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her
Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educa-
tional trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, en-
cumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the
date hereof.

FIRST SCHEDULE

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

Lot 2, D.P. 10059; being parts Sections 21 and 22, Block II,
Woodville Survey District: Area, 9 acres and 5·2 perches,

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be
Subject to the Land Act 1948

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act
1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation
of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto, being provisional State forest reserve set
apart by Proclamation dated the 5th day of July 1920, and
published in Gazette, 8 July 1920, Volume II, page 2109,
is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with
the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after
the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State
forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale,
lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions
of the Land Act 1948.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

PART Section 1A, Block I, Rotoma Survey District: Area, 40
acres 1 rood, more or less. As shown on the plan marked
L. and S. 10/92A deposited in the Head Office, Department of
