Defining the Waihi Abattoir District and Declaring That the Waihi Borough Council Shall be the Controlling Authority of the Abattoir District (Notice No. Ag. 6900)
PURSUANT to section 15 of the Meat Act 1939, the Minister of Agriculture hereby declares that—
(a) The Waihi abattoir district shall hereafter consist of all that area described in the Schedule hereto.
(b) The Waihi Borough Council shall be the controlling authority of the said abattoir district.
SCHEDULE
DESCRIPTION OF WAIHI ABATTOIR DISTRICT
ALL that area for the time being comprised in the Borough of Waihi, the Waihi Beach Riding in the County of Ohinemuri, and so much of the County of Ohinemuri as lies within a radius of one mile of the Waikino Post Office.

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Rabbits Act 1955, the Minister of Agriculture hereby publishes the following resolution passed by the Ekatahuna Rabbit Board on the 8th day of October 1959.
RESOLUTION
THAT the membership of the Ekatahuna Rabbit Board be increased to seven elective members in terms of section 25 of the Rabbits Act 1955.
