RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of forty thousand pounds (£40,000), to be known as the Municipal Abattoir Loan 1960 of £40,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of erecting a three-chamber refrigerated building at the Auckland Municipal Abattoir for the holding of sheep, lamb, or pig carcases and also the erection of a minor pig chiller at the Municipal Abattoir and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eighth of a penny (1/8th of 1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Auckland comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of two hundred and fifty thousand pounds (£250,000), to be known as the Purchase of Properties Loan 1960 of £250,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of purchasing various properties and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-twelfths of a penny (7/12th of 1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Auckland comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off."
