PAPATOETOE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papatoetoe Borough Council hereby resolves:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of £359,000 authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of sewerage reticulation, the said Papatoetoe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of two decimal nought five pence (2·05d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Papatoetoe; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waihi Beach Water Supply Loan 1959, £40,500

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council held on the 8th day of June 1960 the following resolution was passed:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ohinemuri County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £40,500 authorised to be raised by the Ohinemuri County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a water supply, including reticulation, for Waihi Beach Riding, the said Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes a special rate of 2·43d. in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Waihi Beach Riding of the County of Ohinemuri; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 21st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Gas Production Loan 1959, £55,000

It is hereby notified that at a special meeting of the Council, held on Monday, the 9th day of March 1959, the resolution set out hereunder was passed.

“That the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the repayment of the said loan and payment of the interest charges, a special rate of 1·165d. in the pound on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough.”

SOUTHLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Balfour Sewerage Loan 1960, £7,250

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Southland County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £7,250 authorised to be raised by the Southland County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a sewerage treatment plant in the Balfour Urban Drainage area, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of 2s. 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Balfour Urban Drainage area and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was duly passed by the Southland County Council at a meeting of the said Council held on the 20th day of May 1960.

WAIRARAPA SOUTH COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Wairarapa South County Council made on the 16th day of April 1959, a scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Wairarapa South County. The scheme has been deposited in the County Council Offices, Belvedere Road, Carterton, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the offices are open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or to any part of it shall be in writing in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 16 September 1960. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.
