Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 27th day of May 1959.

Notice of Intention to Take Land and Leasehold Interests in Land for Better Utilisation in Blocks I, II, and V, Belmont Survey District

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and the leasehold interest in the land first described in the Second Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by the Wellington Returned Services Association (Incorporated), under and by virtue of railway lease No. 24969, and the leasehold interest in the land secondly described in the said Second Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Andrew Brown, of Porirua, taxi proprietor, under and by virtue of railway lease No. 26831, for better utilisation; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land and of the land affected by the leasehold interests so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Porirua and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land or leasehold interests should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking thereof, set forth the same in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for State housing purposes; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Wairoa and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
