Declaring That the Courses of the Mangatarere River and Beef Creek in Blocks X and XIV, Tiffin Survey District, Shall be Altered or Diverted

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 207 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the courses of the Managatarere River and Beef Creek shall be altered or diverted within the area of land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
All that portion of land situated in the Tiffin Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Taratahi 391c 1D 1, 391c 1B, 391c 1D, 391c 1D 2, and 391c 1C, Blocks X and XIV, part Taratahi 391c 1A, part Hikawera No. 1, land on plan A. 3032, being part Hikawera No. 1, and part Lot 2, D.P. 3273, being part Hikawera No. 1, Block X.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 308 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 31st day of May 1960.

Revoking a Sanctuary and Declaring Land, Canterbury Land District, North Canterbury Acclimatisation District, to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Warrant published in the Gazette of 5 April 1950, No. 19, page 371, notifying and declaring an area of land to be a sanctuary for the purposes of the Animals Protection and Game Act 1921–22; and hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—ELLESMERE COUNTY
Part Reserves 684, 959, 3192, and intersecting roads, situated in Blocks II and III, Southbridge Survey District: Area, 576 acres, more or less.
As the same is more particularly shown on plan numbered I.A. 52/102 and deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 9495L.)

Pursuant to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY
Section 601, Township of Foxton, situated in Blocks II and III, Moutere Survey District: Area, 2,534 acres 2 roods 39·8 perches, more or less. All certificates of title, Volume 247, folio 15, and Volume 435, folio 170, and Proclamations 4266 and 5653.
Also Section 602, Township of Foxton, situated in Blocks III and IV, Moutere Survey District: Area, 1,092 acres, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 428, folio 136, and part certificate of title, Volume 540, folio 205 (cancelled).
As shown on plans Nos. 85/10 and 85/11 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plans 24419 and 24535.)

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council of 10 May 1955, and published in the Gazette, 19 May 1955, page 807, licensing Wilson Rothery Ltd. to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Panmure, Tamaki River, as a site for a wharf, by omitting the words “plan marked M.D. 8034” and substituting the words “plans marked M.D. 8034 and M.D. 10710”.
