TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Taihape Borough Council made on the 21st day of October 1959, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Borough of Taihape. The scheme has been deposited in the Council office, Town Hall, Taihape, and the Public Library, Taihape, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objection to the scheme or any part thereof shall be in writing in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 31 August 1960. At a later date every objection will be open to the public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

PAHIATUA COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, public notice is hereby given that the district planning scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Pahiatua County was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 13th day of April 1960, after all objections relating to the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections allowed.

The Council also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of June 1960.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office and may be inspected, without fee by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROADS AND TO CLOSE ROADS

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments. Notice is hereby given that the Taumarunui County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of roads, and for the purpose of such work the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken and to close the roads described in the Second Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that the plans of the lands required to be taken and the roads to be closed are deposited at the public office of the said council, situated in Miriama Street, Taumarunui, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary business hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands or the closing of the said roads if they have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands or the closing of the said roads must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, on the 20th day of May 1960, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for road and to stop the pieces of road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to be taken and of the pieces of road to be stopped is deposited in the office of the Otorohanga County Council at Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land or by the stopping of the said pieces of road should, if they have any well grounded objections to the said taking or stopping, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the office of the County Council at Otorohanga.
