NOTICE TO CREDITORS TO PROVE DEBTS OR CLAIMS

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of Tasman Dairies Ltd.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undersigned, the liquidator
of Tasman Dairies Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily,
does hereby fix the 10th day of June 1960 as the day on or
before which the creditors of the company are to prove their
debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to
priority under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955, or to
be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before
the debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting
to the distribution. Creditors who have already forwarded
certified accounts to the liquidator need not concern themselves
with this notice.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

NOTICE is hereby given that Rex Baker Ltd., Hawarden, has
resolved by special resolution, dated 17 May 1960, that the
company should be wound up voluntarily; and notice is also
given that a meeting of the creditors of the company will
be held, pursuant to section 362 of the Companies Act 1955,
in the Library, Canterbury Chamber of Commerce, corner
of Worcester Street and Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, at
3.30 p.m., on Wednesday, 25 May 1960.

A full statement of the position of the company's affairs,
together with a list of creditors and the estimated amount of
their claims, will be laid before this meeting, at which the
creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may
nominate a person to be liquidator of the company and, in
pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a
committee of inspection.

A creditor may vote in person or by proxy. Proxies are

Nicholls, and all proxies must be lodged at the office of

Notice of Winding-up Resolution

PURSUANT to section 269 of the Companies Act 1955, notice
is hereby given that, on the 14th day of May 1960, it was
resolved by the company, as a special resolution by memo-
randum signed for the purpose of becoming an entry in the
minute book of the company, as provided by subsections (1)
and (4) of section 362 of the Companies Act 1955, as follows:

"(1) That the company be wound up voluntarily.

"(2) That Mr James Alan Capon, of Ashburton, public
accountant, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the
company."

NOTICE OF RESOLUTION FOR VOLUNTARY WINDING UP

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of Alan Walker Ltd.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by duly signed entry in the minute
book of the above-named company on the 17th day of May
1960, the following extraordinary resolution was passed by
the company, namely:

"That the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, con-
tinue in business and that it is advisable to wind up and that
accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily."

NOTICE OF GENERAL MEETING

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of the Johnston Construction Co. Ltd. (in liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 281 of the
Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the above-
named company will be held at my office in Weraroa Road,
Waverley, on Monday, the 20th day of June 1960, at 10 a.m.,
for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing
how the winding up has been conducted and the property of
the company has been disposed of, and to receive any
explanation thereof by the liquidator.

Further Business:

To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following
resolution as an extraordinary resolution, namely:

"That the books and papers of the company and of the
liquidator be left in the custody of the liquidator and that
after the expiration of five years from the dissolution of the
company they be destroyed."

Every member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting
is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of
him. A proxy need not also be a member.

PARAKAO TIMBER CO. LTD.

NOTICE OF REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of Parakao Timber Co. Ltd., a private company incor-
porated in New Zealand and having its registered office
at the C. and A. Odlin Timber and Hardware Company's
building, Broadway, Newmarket, Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand, dated the 13th day of April 1960, confirming
the reduction of the share capital of the above-named com-
pany from £2,100 to £1,050 and the minute approved by the
Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as
altered, the several particulars required by the above-
mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies
on the 16th day of May 1960. The said minute is in the
words and figures following:

"The amount of share capital of Parakao Timber Co. Ltd.,
as altered by the order of the Supreme Court, confirming the
reduction of the share capital of the company is £1,050,
divided into 2,100 shares of 10s. each, and at the date of
registration of this minute the amount of 10s. is deemed to
be paid up on each share."

MAKARA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Reserves Loan 1959, £14,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Makara County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £14,000 authorised to be raised by the Makara
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purposes of erecting dressing pavilions and public conven-
iences on recreation reserves, the said Makara County Council
hereby makes a special rate of seventeen hundredths pence
(0·017d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all
rateable property in the County Towns of Porirua, Takapu-
wahia, and Titahi Bay; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable yearly on the 15th day of September in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a
meeting of the Makara County Council held on Wednesday,
the 11th day of May 1960. 687
