Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be
Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 30th day of March 1946, and published in Gazette, 11 April 1946, Volume I, page 456, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT

PART Section 23, Block II, Reefton Survey District: Area, 29 acres and 13 perches, more or less.

As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4396A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 10153.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of May 1960.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road, is hereby set apart for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of May 1960.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 10·5 perches, situated in Block X, Kawakawa Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part Lot 10, D.P. 3641, being part Old Land Claim 54; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 99 (S.O. 41835) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of May 1960.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for State housing purposes, is hereby set apart for police purposes (residence) subject to the interests reserved by transfer No. 14739, Auckland Land Registry; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of May 1960.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 2·8 perches, situated in the Borough of Huntly, being Lot 37, D.P. S. 5951, being part Allotment 9, Pepepe Parish. Part certificate of title, Volume 67, folio 21, Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of May 1960.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for general education purposes, is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of May 1960.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 11·1 perches, situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., and being part Reserve 4683; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 159 (S.O. 9641) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of May 1960.
