Land Taken, Subject to Agreement as to Fencing, for the Development of Water Power (Substation) in the City of Invercargill

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, subject to agreement as to fencing contained in memorandum of transfer No. 155833, Southland Land Registry, is hereby taken for the development of water power (substation).

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 32 perches, situated in Block II, Invercargill Hundred, City of Invercargill, being Lot 23, D.P. 4993, and being also part Section 4. All certificate of title, Volume 198, folio 118, Southland Land Registry.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public cemetery and crematorium and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitemata as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of May 1960.
