NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD PURPOSES

UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Chatham Islands require to take
the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto
The lands are required for the purpose of public works,
namely, for roads.
Notice is hereby given that a plan of the said lands is open
for inspection at the offices of the Chatham Islands County
Council, Waitangi, and at the offices of Messrs Macalister,
Mazengarb, Parkin, and Rose, 21 Brandon Street, Wellington.
All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to
set forth in writing any well grounded objections to the
execution of such work or to the taking of such lands and to
send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first pub-
lication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council's
office, Waitangi, or to Messrs Macalister, Mazengarb, Parkin,
and Rose, 21 Brandon Street, Wellington.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Waitangi Beach Road

0 1 9·64 Part Kekerione No. 1, Section 64; coloured
orange.
0 0 0·99 Part Kekerione No. 1, Section 62; coloured blue.
Both the above-described parcels of land being situate in
Block II, Oropuke Survey District, in the County of Chatham
Islands, being more particularly delineated on the plan lodged
with the Chief Surveyor at Wellington under No. S.O. 24525;
the above-mentioned areas comprising both road and sever-
ances.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Waitangi-Tuku Road Extension

3 0 8 Part Otonga No. 1c 2, situate in Block V, Oropuke
Survey District; coloured sepia.
10 2 30 Part Otonga No. 1B, situate in Block V and VI,
Oropuke Survey District; coloured yellow.
7 1 1 Part Otonga No. 1D, situate in Block VI, Oropuke
Survey District; coloured blue.
All the above-described parcels of land being situate in the
above-mentioned survey districts in the County of Chatham
Islands, being more particularly delineated on the plan lodged
with the Chief Surveyor at Wellington under No. S.O. 24451.

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Matamata County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to
take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and
notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the land
proposed to be taken is deposited in the public office of the
Clerk of the above Council situated at Tirau and is open for
inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office
hours. All persons affected by the taking of the said land who
have any objections thereto in writing and lodge the same at
the office of the County Clerk within 40 days from the first
publication of this notice.

All situated in County of Matamata, Land Registration
District of Auckland, and shown on S.O. Plan 40292, coloured
respectively sepia, blue, and yellow.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF

BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public
Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitotara County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to take the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto
for bridge construction; and notice is hereby further given
that a plan of the said pieces of land so required to be take
is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said
Council situate at No. 331 Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, and is
open to inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary
office hours.
All persons affected by the taking of the said land who
have any well grounded objection to the taking of any of the
said lands must state their objection in writing and send the
same, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice,
to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

coloured as above mentioned.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amend-
ments and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the Borough of Green Island propose, under the
provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain
public work, namely, to reconstruct and widen Brighton Road
within the Borough of Green Island, and for the purpose of
such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto
requires to be taken; and notice is further given that
the land so required to be taken is part of Lot 1, Block II,
D.P. 377, being part of Section 89, Block V, Lower Kaikorai
S.D., and part Lots 2 and 3, Block III, D.P. 377, being part
of Section 88 and part closed road, Lower Kaikorai S.D.;
and that a plan showing the said land has been prepared and
is open for inspection at the office of the Council of the
Borough of Green Island; and further, all persons affected by
the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the
said land should if they have any well grounded objection to
the execution of such work or the taking of such land set
forth the same in writing within 40 days from the date of the
first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk of the
Borough of Green Island at the Council Office, Main Road,
Green Island.

SCHEDULE

A parcel of land situated in the Lower Kaikorai Survey Dis-
trict described as part Lot 1, Block II, containing an area of
five and seven-tenths (5 7/10) poles, being a portion of the
land shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office
at Dunedin as No. 377, and a parcel of land situated in the
Lower Kaikorai Survey District described as part Lots 2 and 3,
Block III, containing an area of five and four-tenths (5 4/10)
poles, being a portion of the land shown on a plan deposited
in the Land Registry Office at Dunedin as No. 377, and the
above-mentioned parcels are included in certificates of titles
319/147 and 373/38 respectively and more particularly de-
scribed in plans lodged in the Town Clerk's Office, Green
Island.
