Wholesalers' Licences Under the Sales Tax Act 1932-33, Granted, Surrendered, or Revoked

PURSUANT to the Sales Tax Act 1932-33, the Comptroller of Customs hereby gives notice that licences to act as wholesalers have been granted to the licensees mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and that licences to act as wholesalers granted to the licensees mentioned in the Second Schedule hereto have been surrendered or revoked.

Special Order Made by Taumarunui County Council Altering Riding Boundaries

PURSUANT to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby publishes the following special order made by the Taumarunui County Council.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of the Counties Act 1956, the Taumarunui County Council resolves by way of special order as follows:

"(1) The present division of the County of Taumarunui into 10 ridings is revoked and in lieu thereof the said county shall be divided into 11 ridings to be called respectively Waimiha Riding, Taringamotu Riding, Kuratau Riding, Pungapunga Riding, Hunua Riding, Owhango Riding, Kaitieke Riding, Otunui Riding, Tokirima Riding, Nihoniho Riding, and Ongarue Riding, which said ridings are respectively described in the Schedule hereto.
"(2) The said Taumarunui County Council shall consist of 11 members who shall be elected as follows: The electors of the Waimiha, Taringamotu, Kuratau, Pungapunga, Hunua, Owhango, Kaitieke, Otunui, Tokirima, Nihoniho, and Ongarue Ridings shall elect one councillor for their riding."

BOUNDARIES OF WAIMIHA RIDING

ALL that area in the South Auckland and Taranaki Land Districts in the Taumarunui County bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 18, Block II, Tangitu Survey District, and proceeding easterly and southerly generally along the boundary of the County of Taumarunui as described in Gazette, 1959, page 1515, to a point on the western shore of Lake Taupo in Block V, Karangahape Survey District, being the middle of the mouth of the Oruapuraho Stream; thence westerly generally up the middle of that stream to and along the north-western boundaries of Hauhungaroa 2c, 5, 4, 2d 2 and 9 Blocks, the north-western boundaries of parts Hauhungaroa 8c, 8A, and 8B Blocks to and northerly and again westerly generally along the eastern and northern boundaries of Section 2, Block XII, Tuhua Survey District and the northern boundary of Section 1,
