COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in
the First Schedule hereto; and I also hereby allocate the land
described in the Second Schedule hereto to the purposes of
subsection (6) of the said section 29.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Land Proclaimed as Road
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block III, Whakatane
Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

yellow on plan.

ALL that piece of land containing 1·9 perches, situated in
Block III, Whakatane Survey District, Auckland R.D., being
part Lot 140, D.P. 22193, being part Allotment 246A, Section
2, Waimana Parish; coloured yellow, edged yellow, on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 155955 (S.O. 38144) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

certificate of title, Volume 107, folio 216.
SECOND SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
Road Closed
ALL that piece of road containing 35·7 perches, situated in
Block I, Opotiki Survey District, Gisborne R.D., and adjoining
or passing through Whakatane-Gisborne State Highway
No. 20; as the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 161333 (S.O. 5147) deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 4th day of April 1960.
