WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act 1924, the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, for a street at Willis Street in the City of Wellington, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land should, if they have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

SCHEDULE

THOSE pieces of land situate in the City of Wellington containing by admeasurement:

First, one (1) perch more or less, being part of Section 118, Town of Wellington, being the land more particularly shown on S.O. Plan 24530 and thereon coloured sepia.

Secondly, two-tenths (2/10) of a perch, more or less, being part of Section 118, Town of Wellington, being the land more particularly shown on S.O. Plan 24530 and thereon coloured orange.

OAMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR PART OF TEST STREET

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Oamaru Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the deviation and laying out of the public street known as Test Street in the Borough of Oamaru, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for a street and the severed area vested in the Council in fee simple; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Thames Street, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, namely, the 15th day of March 1960, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Thames Street, Oamaru.

Subscriptions—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, payable in advance. Single copies available as issued.

The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon. The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume (Volumes for years 1936-37 and 1939-42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
