Pursuant to section 2 (1) (f) of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum Amendment Act 1936, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint the following persons to be members of the Board of Trustees of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum;
William Simon Wauchop, Esquire, M.A., for a term of three years as on and from 26 July 1959.
Stanley Walter Fearn, Esquire, A.R.I.B.A., F.N.Z.I.A., for a term of three years as on and from 12 November 1958, as representing the Wellington Branch of the New Zealand Institute of Architects.

Varying a Notice Declaring Parts of a Tribal District to be Tribal Committee Areas Under the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945
Pursuant to section 14 (2) of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby varies the notice dated 13 January 1949 and published in the Gazette on 20 January 1949 at page 59, declaring parts of the Whakatu Tribal District to be tribal committee areas for the purposes of the said Act, by deleting from the Schedule thereto the descriptions of Ngati-Koata Tribal Committee Area and the Nelson Tribal Committee Area, and substituting therefor the description appearing in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
WHAKATU TRIBAL DISTRICT
Nelson Tribal Committee Area
ALL that area being part of the County of Waimea bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast being the eastern end of the southern boundary of Section 92 in Block I, Moutere Survey District; thence proceeding south-easterly and north-easterly generally along the sea coast to Pukerau Point in Block IV, Whangamoa Survey District; thence along a right line from Pukerau Point to North Castor Peak; thence along the summit of the range over Tapamutu and
Saddle Hill to the source of the Heringa Stream; thence down that stream to its confluence with the Pelorus River and up that river to its source near Red Hills; thence to and along the summit of the range over Red Hills, Mount Rintoul, and Bush Cone to the summit of Ward Pass, and along a right line to Trig. Station Top 2 (Mangatawai); thence along the summit of the St. Arnaud Range to a point where the south-western watershed of the Motupiko and Rainy Rivers join the St. Arnaud Range; thence along the said watershed to its junction with the spur between Cow Creek and the Buller River, and along the summit of that spur to the confluence of the Hope and Buller Rivers; thence along a right line to Mount Owen; thence along the summit of the range forming the western watershed of the Motueka River to a peak 5,350ft approximately half a mile east of Mount Arthur; thence easterly along a right line to the eastern end of the southern boundary of Section 92 in Block I, Moutere Survey District, being the point of commencement, and including all that area comprising D'Urville and adjacent islands.

Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Invercargill City Council on the 30th day of June 1959:
“That public notice in that behalf having been duly given as required by law and no objections having been received in respect of the proposal, the Invercargill City Council, in pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, hereby resolves that the land specified in the Schedule hereto, being land vested in fee simple in the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill be and the same is hereby declared a public reserve for the purpose of a site for municipal buildings within the meaning of the said Act.”

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Section 16, Block III, Town of Invercargill: Area, 12 perches, more or less. Together with, and subject to, rights of way created by Transfer No. 18338. All certificate of title, Volume 119, folio 191.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SECTION 17, Block V, Ohura Survey District: Area, 5 acres and 26 perches, more or less. As shown upon the plan marked S.G. 56112/5 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
