A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 10th day of August 1959, to be road.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was reserved for railway purposes and is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Oroua County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Pursuant to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the provisional State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

Section 9, Block III, Maungakaretu Survey District, situated in Rangitikei County: Area, 1,083 acres, more or less. Shown on plan No. 71/36 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 24494.)

Leasehold Estate in Land at Clarence Taken for the Purposes of the South Island Main Trunk Railway

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Ronald Shuckburgh Collyns, farmer, of Clarence, under and by virtue of Crown lease No. R.L. 133 and being part of the land contained in leasehold certificate of title, Volume 31, folio 42, Marlborough Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of the South Island Main Trunk Railway; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st day of March 1960.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of leasehold land taken: 1 acre 2 roods 6· 8 perches.
Being part Section 19, Block XI, Puhipuhu Survey District. Situated in Kaikoura County, and shown coloured blue on Plan S.O. 4329, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Blenheim, and being part of the land in leasehold certificate of title, Volume 31, folio 42, Marlborough Registry.
