Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.

All that piece of road containing 1 rood 12 perches, situated in Block I, Awakino Survey District, Auckland R.D., adjoining Lot 1, D.P. 2051, being part Section 13, and Section 16; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 161217 (S.O. 39658) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a motorway desired to be constructed in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District—viz, a portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the land situated within the limits shown coloured red on the plan marked P.W.D. 160855 referred to in the Schedule hereto.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a road to be constructed over Block XI, Tarawera Survey District, viz, a deviation of the Taupo-Napier Main Highway, shall be defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only that land situated within the limits of the areas shown coloured red on the plan marked P.W.D. 161196 referred to in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT
Commencing at a point in the middle of the Taupo-Napier Main Highway No. 22 approximately 24 chains south of the north-easternmost corner of part Tarawera No. 10B Block, Block XI, Tarawera Survey District, and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 2 miles 20 chains passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, etc., viz, Tarawera No. 5A Block and part Tarawera Block, and terminating at the north-easternmost corner of Tarawera No. 8 Block, Block XI, Tarawera Survey District, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses, all in the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 161196 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
