Station Kaharoa (Block II, Waioeka South Survey District) with Trig. Station Te Wana (Block II, Koranga West Survey District); thence south-easterly along that right line to Trig. Station Te Wana aforesaid; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Paharakeke Block to its intersection with a right line joining Trig. Station Maungatapere (Block II, Ngatapa Survey District) with Trig. Station Maungapohatu, (Block XII, Ruatahuna Survey District; thence south-westerly along that right line to the point of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF KANAKANAIA RIDING
All that area in the Gisborne Land District, Waikohu County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Waipaoa River at its confluence with the Maungataikehu Stream in Block V, Waimata Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly generally up the middle of the Waipaoa River to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Rangatira 3k 1 in Block IV, Waihoku Survey District; thence north-easterly generally to and along that boundary and the north-eastern boundaries of Rangatira 3k, 3J 7, 3J 5, and 3J 4c, to the southernmost corner of Lot 4, D.P. 4009, along the western boundary of that lot and the original western boundaries of Rangatira 3A and 3E 1 to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned block, along a right line to the south-eastern corner of Rangatira 3A 3A, along the eastern boundaries of that block and of Lot 1, D.P. 3626, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of Hauomatuku Stream, up the middle of that stream to the western boundary of Hauomatuku No. 6, along the western and north-western boundaries of that block to the westernmost corner of Section 5, Kanakanaia Settlement, along the north-western boundary of lease No. 6259, being part of Lot 5, D.P. 1698, the north-western boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 2139, the south-eastern boundary of part Lot 5, D.P. 1698, and its production to the middle of a public road; thence northerly generally along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of that part Lot 4, D.P. 1697, lying to the south-west of the said public road, to and along that boundary, to the north-eastern boundary of part Lot 5, D.P. 1698, to its northernmost point, along a right line to the southernmost corner of that part of Lot 4, D.P. 1697, lying north-west of Waitangi Road, along the south-western and northern boundaries of that part Lot 4, to the western side of Waitangi Road, along that roadside to the easternmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 1695, along the generally north-eastern boundaries of that lot to the southern boundary of Lot 7, D.P. 1697, along that boundary, its production across Waitangi Stream, the north-eastern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 1697, its production across the Waingaromia River, the generally southern boundary of Lot 8, D.P. 1697, its production across Waitangi Road, the generally south-eastern boundaries of Lot 8, its production across the Waingaromia River, the generally north-western boundaries of Lot 6, D.P. 1697, the eastern side of Waitangi Road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of that part Lot 6 lying to the north-west of Waitangi Road, to and along that boundary, the generally north-western boundaries of that part Lot 6, its production across Waingaromia River, the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 9, D.P. 1697, the generally north-western boundaries of part Lot 3, D.P. 1696, its production across the Waingaromia River, the north-western boundary of Lot 7, D.P. 1696, its production across the Waingaromia River, the north-western boundary of part Lot 3, D.P. 1696, to the northernmost corner of that lot; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of said part Lot 3 and its production to the middle of the Waiapu Inland Road, north-easterly generally along that road to the middle of a public road, south-westerly generally along the middle of that road, and the middle of the public road intersecting Section 6, Block VIII, Waingaromia Survey District, to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block XI, Waingaromia Survey District; thence south-westerly generally along the generally north-western boundaries of Cook County hereinbefore described to the point of commencement.
