PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1953, notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers of the Waiau Pa Hall Special Rating Area of the County of Franklin, taken on the 17th day of February 1960, on the proposal of the Franklin County Council to borrow the sum of £9,000 for the purpose of erecting a new hall at Waiau Pa:

PURSUANT to the powers vested in it by the Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951, the Christchurch Drainage Board, at a meeting held on the 16th day of February 1960, hereby resolves that the boundary of the said special area hereinbefore described and defined shall be further altered so as to include in the said special area all those areas more particularly described in the Schedules hereto, and further, resolves that the said areas shall form part of and be included in the Subdivision B of the said special area and that the boundaries of the said Subdivision B shall be altered accordingly so as to include all those areas more particularly described in the Schedules hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
CLEARBROOK STREET

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the special area boundary, such point being on the western boundary of Lot 3, Deposit Plan No. 20851; thence northerly along the western boundaries of Lots 3 to 6 inclusive to the north-western corner thereof; thence easterly along the northern boundary of Lot 6 to the special area boundary; thence southerly generally and south-westerly along the special area boundary to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE
AVONSIDE DRIVE

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the special area boundary, such point being on the northern side of Avonside Drive and being the south-western corner of Lot 2, Deposit Plan No. 18899; thence westerly along the northern side of that road to the western boundary of Lot 3; thence northerly and easterly along the western and northern boundaries of Lot 3 to the special area boundary; thence southerly, westerly, and southerly along the special area boundary to the point of commencement.

THIRD SCHEDULE
CURLETTS ROAD

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the special area boundary, such point being on the eastern side of Curletts Road and being the south-western corner of Lot 2, Deposit Plan No. 18114; thence northerly along the eastern side of that road to the northern boundary of Lot 2; thence easterly and southerly along the northern and eastern boundaries of Lot 2 to the special area boundary; thence westerly along the special area boundary to the point of commencement.

FOURTH SCHEDULE
GREERS ROAD

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the special area boundary, such point being on the north-western side of Hampton Road and being the south-western corner of Lot 16, Deposit Plan No. 16309; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary and north-westerly along the south-western boundary of Lot 2, Deposit Plan No. 20921 to and across Greers Road to the special area boundary; thence easterly generally and southerly generally along the special area boundary to the point of commencement.

FIFTH SCHEDULE
CRANFORD STREET

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the special area boundary, such point being the eastern corner of Lot 13, Deposit Plan No. 18965; thence south-westerly, north-westerly, and northerly generally along the south-eastern, south-western, and western boundaries of Lot 13 to the special area boundary; thence north-westerly along the special area boundary to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 7, Deposit Plan No. 18965; thence south-westerly, north-westerly, and northerly generally along the south-eastern, south-western, and western boundaries of Lot 7 to the special area boundary; thence south-easterly along the special area boundary to the point of commencement.
