Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

PURSUANT to the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 as amended by section 2 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the closing of the portion of street known as Antonio Street in the Borough of Stratford, described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL those pieces of street situated in Block II, Ngaere Survey District, Borough of Stratford, Taranaki R.D., described as follows:

Authorising the Laying Off of Lifford Place in the City of Palmerston North, Subject to Conditions as to the Building Line

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 15th day of February 1960
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Palmerston North City Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 45 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 6 to 17 (inclusive) of a subdivision of the land adjoining the said street (as shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 160407 referred to in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of 18 ft from the side line of the said street, or on Lots 3 and 4 of the said subdivision within a distance of 8 ft from the side line of the said street.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
THAT proposed street in the City of Palmerston North, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 24·24 perches, more or less, being part Rural Section 372, Township of Palmerston North, and being also Lot 18, L.T. Plan 21482; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160407 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Conferring Jurisdiction on the Maori Land Court

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 15th day of February 1960
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby confers upon the Maori Land Court jurisdiction to determine any matter or question affecting the rights of Maoris in any real or personal property affected by the deed of conveyance and trust, dated the 27th day of April 1877, in favour of Roha Borell and her children.
