Street Closed in the Borough of Wairoa and Added to Land Held for a Public School

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the street described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby closed and added to the land now held for a public school described in the Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of street in the Hawke’s Bay Land District containing 30·67 perches, situated in the Borough of Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and adjoining or passing through Suburban Sections 28 and 62, Class No. 2, Town of Clyde, and Lot 44, and part Lot 45, D.P. 3355, part Suburban Section 15, Class No. 2, Town of Clyde; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156395 (S.O. 3056) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
SECOND SCHEDULE
LAND HELD FOR A PUBLIC SCHOOL
ALL that piece of land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District containing 1 rood 7·3 perches, situated in the Borough of Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and being Lot 44, and parts Lots 43 and 45, D.P. 3355, being part Suburban Section 15, Class No. 2, Town of Clyde; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156395 (S.O. 3056) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 12th day of February 1959.

Declaring Land in a Roadway Laid Out in Block X, Kidnapper Survey District, to be Road

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 25th day of May 1939 to be road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of roadway in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, situated in Block X, Kidnapper Survey District, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and being 1 chain wide over Waimarama 3A 5 Section 2A, Waimarama 3A 5 Section 1A, and Waimarama 3A 5 Section 1B Blocks, commencing at the junction of the Hastings-Waimarama Main Highway and the boundary between the said Sections 2A and 1A; thence in a south-easterly direction along that boundary for a width of 50 links on each side to a point 1 chain beyond the western boundary of the said Section 1B; and thence continuing in a southerly direction for a width of 1 chain along the eastern side of the western boundary of the said Section 1B to its junction with the northern boundary of Waimarama 3A 6B Section 6A Block; and the whole roadway being registered in the Land Transfer Office at Napier under No. 114246 and also shown on Plan No. 1778 in the Lands and Survey Office at Napier.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SECTIONS 3 and 10, Block IV, Waipu Survey District, situated in Whangarei County: Area, 455 acres and 30 perches, more or less. Shown on plan No. 11/19 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 26533.)

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Gisborne-Karaka Railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 10·79 perches.
Being closed road, adjoining railway reserve.
Situated in Block IX, Waimata Survey District, Cook County. (S.O. 4104.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6663 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
