AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of amenities for the health, amusement, and instruction of the public, pursuant to the provisions of section 305 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, Auckland, and it is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auckland.

SCHEDULE

TWENTY-FIVE decimal seven one (25·71) perches, more or less, situate in the City of Auckland, being Lot 11 on Deeds Plan 299 of Allotment 14 of Section 9, Suburbs of Auckland, and the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 532, folio 249, Auckland Registry.

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Featherston County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the realignment and widening of a public road; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken:

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at Kitchener Street, Martinborough, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Kitchener Street, Martinborough.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for Paraparaumu-Raumati District was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 10th day of December 1959, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all variations of the scheme required by the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board had been incorporated.

The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 24th day of December 1959.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council’s Offices at Bowen House, Bowen Street, Wellington, and Ruahine Street, Paraparaumu, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

COUNTY OF CLIFTON: URENUl COUNTY TOWN

DECLARATION OF POLL ON PROPOSAL TO ADOPT SYSTEM OF RATING ON UNIMPROVED VALUE

PURSUANT to section 42 of the Rating Act 1925, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Urenui County Town in the County of Clifton, taken on 21 November 1959 on the proposal that the system of rating in the said county town be on the unimproved value:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 162 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 43 I therefore declare the proposal was carried.

Fees for Entry Permits to Lake Rotoaira

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 5 of the Maori Purposes Act 1959, the Trustees of Lake Rotoaira have prescribed the following fees for entry permits to Lake Rotoaira:

Annual entry permits £ 12 s. 10 d.
Monthly entry permits £ 8 s. 0 d.
Weekly entry permits £ 5 s. 0 d.

NOTE—Due to unavoidable late opening of the 1959–60 season, the fee for an annual entry permit is being reduced for this season only to £9.
