Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 9th day of May 1939, and published in Gazette, 18 May 1939, Volume II, page 1494, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Part Section 1 and part Section 8, Block XV, Wharepapa Survey District: Area, 660 acres and 22-9 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 10/92/99A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 39822.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of December 1959.

Declaring Lands in Hawke's Bay and Canterbury Land Districts Vested in the Hawke's Bay and Canterbury Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the First Schedule hereto, being areas vested in the Hawke's Bay Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

FIRST SCHEDULE

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT
Lot 32, D.P. 2411, being part Suburban Section 54, Meeanee: Area, 1 rood 10 perches, more or less (coloured sepia). Certificate of title, H.B. Volume 142, folio 259.
Part of Lot 2, D.P. 6049, being parts Suburban Sections 47 and 54, Meeanee: Area, 1 acre 3 roods 5·2 perches, more or less (coloured blue). Part certificate of title, H.B. Volume 50, folio 127.
Part of Lot 284, Deeds Plan 249, being part Suburban Section 54, Meeanee: Area, 1 acre 2 roods 27·1 perches, more or less (coloured orange). Part certificate of title, H.B. Volume 38, folio 256.
