Declaring Lands in North Auckland, South Auckland, and Wellington Land Districts Vested in the Auckland, South Auckland, and Wanganui Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the First Schedule hereto, being areas vested in the Auckland Education Board, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui Education Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Allotment 14, Ruatangata Parish, situated in Block VII, Purua Survey District: Area, 8ยท2 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 555, folio 223 (limited as to parcels and title). As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1242u deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 41265.)

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of provisional State forest reserve No. 1462 set apart by Proclamation dated the 1st day of September 1953 and published in Gazette, 10 September 1953, Volume III, page 1466, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Reserve 1462, situated in Blocks V and IX, Kaniere Survey District: Area, 200 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plan 4845.)
