Lieutenant Peter John Trapski, LL.B., from the 1st Battalion, The Wellington Regiment (City of Wellington’s Own), RNZ Inf, is granted a Regular short-service commission for a term of 15 months, in the rank of Lieutenant. Dated 5 January 1959.

The following notices published in the Gazette relating to Major G. R. Lee are hereby cancelled:

Volume II of 1952, page 1292, under heading “Reserve of Officers, Regimental List, The Canterbury Regiment”,

Volume III of 1958, page 1821, under heading “Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal N.Z. Infantry Corps” (posting to the Retired List), and the following is substituted:

“Major G. R. Lee, 1st Battalion, The Canterbury Regiment, resigns his commission on being appointed to a commission in the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Dated 23 February 1942.”
