Leasehold Estates in Land Taken for the Awakaponga-Kawerau Railway in Blocks VI and IX, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Kenneth Dombroski, of Inglewood, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown lease recorded in Volume 846, folio 76, Auckland Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land secondly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Charles Terrick Ransom, of Otakiri, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown lease recorded in Volume 635, folio 190, Auckland Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land thirdly described in the said Schedule held from Her Majesty the Queen by James Gow and John William Gow, both of Edgecumbe, farmers, as tenants in common in equal shares, under and by virtue of Crown lease recorded in Volume 654, folio 148, Auckland Land Registry, are hereby taken for the Awakaponga-Kawerau Railway.

Land Taken Together With and Subject to Certain Rights for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road in Block XII, Belmont Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road, together with the water and other rights created or granted by memorandum of transfer No. 248865, Wellington Land Registry, and subject to any rights which may have been acquired by the Wellington City Corporation in respect of water mains laid under the surface of the said land and to any rights that may have been granted to or acquired by the Wellington Meat Export Co. Ltd. to lay and remove water pipes across or over the said land; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of February 1959.

ALL that piece of land, containing 3 roods 17·5 perches, situated in Block XII, Belmont Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part closed road adjoining Section 14, Harbour District, and part old bed of the Wellington Harbour, and being also part land on D.P. 11786. Balance certificate of title, Volume 473, folio 173, Wellington Land Registry.
