A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road
described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of road situated in Block XIV, Kuripapango
Survey District, and Block XIII, Patoka Survey District,
Hawke’s Bay County, described as follows:
A. R. P.
11 1 19 Lot 1, D.P. 2915, being part Kohurau No. 1
Block, situated in Block XIV, Kuripapango
Survey District.
3 2 32·2 Lot 1, D.P. 2915, being part Kohurau No. 1
Block, situated in Block XIV, Kuripapango
Survey District, and Block XIII, Patoka Sur-
vey District, and Sections 1 and 5, Block XIII,
Patoka Survey District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 159752 (S.O. 3071) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 15th day of October 1959.

ALL that piece of road containing 1 acre and 31 perches, ad-
joining or passing through Brown’s Bay, Block VII, Whanga-
moa Survey District, Nelson R.D.; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160220 (S.O.
10098) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 15th day of October 1959.

to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Charles
John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zea-
land, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the
Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge in the Wellington
Acclimatisation District for the purposes of the Wildlife Act
1953.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—HOROWHENUA COUNTY
NGARARA West A, 14B 2A 2B and 14B 2A 1, situated in Block V,
Kaitawa Survey District: Area, 32 acres 2 roods 20 perches,
more or less. All certificates of title, Volume 550, folio 201,
and Volume 532, folio 122. As shown on the plan marked
I.A. 52/379 deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 12th day of October 1959.

Power Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 21st day of
October 1959
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excel-
lency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby determines as
follows:
-
This Order in Council shall come into force on the date
of the next general election of members of local authorities. -
The constituent districts of the Hawke’s Bay Electric
Power District, which are bracketed together in the first
column of the Schedule hereto, shall be a combined district
for the purposes of the said Act. -
The local authority of the constituent district distin-
guished in the first column of the Schedule hereto by the
letter “(P)” shall be the principal local authority of the said
combined district. -
The number of representatives of each constituent dis-
trict or combined district of the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power
District on the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board shall be
the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the
name of that constituent district or combined district. -
The first election of the representatives of the said com-
bined district shall be held on the date of the said next
general election. -
The Order in Council dated the 2nd day of October 1956
and published in the Gazette on the 4th day of the same
month at page 1354, reapportioning representation on the
Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board, is hereby revoked.
