Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

PURSUANT to the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice of the following results of elections held on 15 September 1959 by Fire Insurance Companies carrying on business in New Zealand to fill extraordinary vacancies on the Fire Board for the Kaiapoi Urban Fire District and the Fire Committee for the Rangiora Urban Fire District.

Classification of Roads in Waitemata County
———
PURSUANT to regulation 3 (11) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes that portion of the Warrant dated the 19th day of October 1950†, in so far as it relates to the roads described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby approves the Waitemata County Council’s proposed variation in the classification of the said roads as described in the Schedule hereto and situated in Waitemata County.
