Notice is hereby given that the Foxton Borough Council has resolved as follows:
“That the resolution as published on page 851, Gazette, 25 June 1959, No. 37, being in error, the same is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the figures 0·0012d. and inserting therein the figures 0·288d. to conform with the resolution appearing on the books of the Council.”

PUKEKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
—
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £108,500 authorised to be raised by the Pukekohe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing sewer reticulation and an oxidation pond, the said Pukekohe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one decimal nine three pence (1·93d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Pukekohe, comprising the whole of the Borough of Pukekohe; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Fire Station Loan 1959, £25,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) authorised to be raised by the Taupo Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a site and erecting a new fire station, the said Taupo Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal three nought five pence (0·305d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Taupo; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Taupo Borough Council at a meeting held on the 31st day of August 1959.

INVERCARGILL CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Invercargill City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Works Loan 1957, £57,000, second issue 1959, £17,000, authorised to be raised by the Invercargill City Council under the above-mentioned Act for carrying out the works specified in the relative special order, the said Invercargill City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought three four pence (·034d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Invercargill; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Invercargill City Council held on Tuesday, 25 August 1959.

Pensioner Flats Loan 1959, £22,250
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £22,250 (twenty-two thousand and two hundred and fifty pounds) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting 36 pensioner flats, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought seven (·07) of a penny in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 31st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £8,000, being the second issue of the Street Works Loan 1958 of £16,000, authorised to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of street reconstruction, sealing, kerbing and channelling, footpath formation and sealing, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two eight pence in the pound (·28d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Rangiora; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,250 authorised to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council (in its capacity as the Rangiora Urban Fire Authority) under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of a new fire engine, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one two four pence (·124d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Rangiora; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Reticulation Loan 1958, £72,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the King Country Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the interest and other charges on a loan of £72,000 authorised to be raised by the King Country Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing for further reticulating the Board’s district, the King Country Electric Power Board makes and levies a special rate of five-sixths (⅚) of one penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all the rateable property of the whole of the King Country Electric Power District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
