Land Taken for Maori Housing Purposes in Block XIV, Tauranga Survey District
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Maori housing purposes;
and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the 31st day of August 1959.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 32·8 perches, situated in
Block XIV, Tauranga Survey District, being Lot 33, D.P.
S. 2174, being part Allotment 20, Parish of Te Papa. All certificate of title, Volume 1486, folio 54, Auckland Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the storm-water
drainage rights created in and by memorandum of transfer
No. 181656, Auckland Land Registry, for a teacher's residence; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 31st day of August 1959.

and after the 31st day of August 1959.

District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

S. 5333, to the building-line restriction imposed by notice
S. 115179, Auckland Land Registry, for Maori housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 31st day of August 1959.

ALL those pieces of land containing together 1 acre and 30·9
perches, situated in Block IV, Horohoro Survey District,

boardinghouse keeper, under and by virtue of deferred payment licence, Volume 1047, folio 253, Auckland Land Registry, is hereby taken for a university; and I also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day
of August 1959.
