AUCKLAND CITY—ELLERSLIE BOROUGH
Pursuant to the discretion conferred upon him by subsection (2) of section 9, Valuation of Land Act 1951, the Valuer-General intends to exercise that authority conferred by the foregoing Order in Council so far as it relates to Auckland City by revising only those properties on the district valuation roll which lie within the Tamaki portion.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the Rotorua Borough Council is proceeding by way of special order to raise a loan of £8,400 to be known as the “Pensioners’ Flats Loan 1959”:
And whereas the special order made by the said Council to raise the said loan was irregular or defective in that there was an interval of less than 14 days between the two notifications required by paragraph (c) of section 77 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954:
And whereas it appears that the ratepayers of the district have not been misled by such irregularity or defect as aforesaid and it is expedient to validate the same:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 130 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the proceedings in connection with the raising of the said loan shall be valid to all intents and purposes as though an interval of not less than 14 days had elapsed between the said two notifications, and hereby further orders and declares that the validity of the proceedings in connection with the raising of the said loan, or of the security for the said loan, shall not be questioned on the ground of the irregularity or defect aforesaid.

Authorising Henry Donoghue Ashurst, of Mount Cook, Photographer, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Mackenzie

At the Government House at Wellington this 12th day of August 1959

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Henry Donoghue Ashurst, of Mount Cook, photographer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
- The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be an alternating-current system.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1979, or until electrical energy is available from an electric power board or other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, as follows:

Commencing from the generator of the Tourist Hotel Corporation and proceeding in a north-easterly direction across the Mount Cook road to the licensee’s shop and dwelling; the said lines being shown in green on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 519 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Commencing from the generator of the Mount Cook National Park Board and proceeding generally in a westerly direction across the Mount Cook road to a pole and thence generally in a south-easterly direction across the Glencoe Stream to the licensee’s motels, the said lines being shown in red on the said plan N.Z.E.D. 519.
All being situated in Blocks X and XIV, Mueller Survey District, in the County of Mackenzie.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Invercargill City Council (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the condition hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

(a) Commencing at a point at the intersection of Kew Road and Elles Road South and proceeding in a southerly direction along the west side of Elles Road South to its intersection with Stirrat Street.
(b) Commencing at a point at the intersection of Elles Road South and Scott Street and proceeding in a south-easterly direction along the south side of Scott Street to its intersection with McQuarry Street.
As the same are shown by means of green lines on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 523 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.
