Declaring the Whitford Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area
(Notice No. Ag. 6794)

Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1955, the Minister of Agriculture hereby declares that, on and from the 31st day of July 1959, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area under the name of the Whitford Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.

SCHEDULE

All that area of land situated within the Manakau County and bounded by a line commencing at the mouth of the Maungamaungaroa Creek, Block IV, Otahuhu Survey District; thence following along the sea coast, firstly, in a generally easterly and then in a southerly direction to the point where the southern boundary of Section 1377, Block II, Wairoa Survey District, meets the sea coast; thence in a straight line across country in a south-westerly direction to Trig. Pukekawa located on the western boundary of Block II, Wairoa Survey District; thence following along the western boundary of the said Block II and Block IV, Wairoa Survey District, in a southerly direction to the south-eastern corner of the Kiripaka Block, Block I, Wairoa Survey District; thence in a north-westerly direction along the south-western boundary of the said Kiripaka Block to the north-western corner of Section 81, Block III, Wairoa Survey District; thence in a generally southerly direction along the western boundaries of Sections 81, 80, 79, and 48, Block III, Wairoa Survey District to the south-western corner of the said Section 48; thence in a generally westerly direction along the southern boundaries of Sections 66, 46, 50, and 51, Block III, Wairoa Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of Section 33, Block III, Wairoa Survey District; thence in a south-westerly direction along the southern boundaries of the said Section 33 and Sections 16, 18, 19, 20, and 178, Block XII, Otahuhu Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 153, Block XII, Otahuhu Survey District; thence following, firstly, the eastern boundary in a southerly direction and then the southern boundary of the said Section 153 to the point where it meets the eastern boundary of Section 91, Block XII, Otahuhu Survey District; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundaries of Sections 91 and pt. 94, Block XII, Otahuhu Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the said Section pt. 94; thence in a westerly direction along the southern boundaries of Section pt. 94, pt. 93, and 92, Block XII, Otahuhu Survey District, to the south-western corner of the said Section 92; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundaries of Sections 92, 91, 137, 175, 176, pt. 118, 117, 2, 100, and 113, Blocks XII, and VII, Otahuhu Survey District, to the north-western corner of the said Section 113; thence in a straight line across country in a north-westerly direction to the mouth of the Maungamaungaroa Creek being the original point of commencement.

Declaration That Portion of the Omarama Domain be Set Apart as a Site for a Public Hall and Vesting in the Waitaki County Council

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that portion of the Omarama Domain described in the Schedule hereto, shall, on and after the 24th day of June 1959, be set apart as a site for a public hall, subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitaki, in trust, as a site for a public hall.

Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Northcote Borough Council on the 17th day of March 1959:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said borough in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same are hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserves for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of the Te Awamutu Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.
