LAKE COUNTY COUNCIL
REVIEW OF WANAKA DISTRICT SCHEME
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, public notice is hereby given that the review of the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for Wanaka was approved by the Council, by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 14th day of April 1959, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all variations of the scheme required by the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board had been incorporated.
The Council has also resolved that the amendments to the scheme shall come into operation on 1 July 1959.
Copies of the amendments of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office and in the Wanaka Library and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Acts amending the same.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch, a body corporate under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, proposes to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, for the purposes of an electrical substation site.
All that parcel of land situated in the City of Christchurch containing 1·001 perches, being that part of Town Section 701 of the City of Christchurch, and comprised in certificate of title, Volume 253, folio 190 (Canterbury Land Registry Office), shown coloured blue on plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor of Christchurch, and thereon No. S.O. 9445 to a height from ground level of 15 ft.
And notice is hereby further given that the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch, a body corporate under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, proposes to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, for the purposes of access to the above site, rights of way, and access in common with all others having like access over the lands adjoining the above described land and known as Press Lane the position of which Press Lane is also shown on the said plan; and notice is hereby further given that all persons affected shall, if they have any objections to the taking of such land, set forth in writing such objections and send such objections within 40 days from the date of the first publication of such notice, being the 27th day of June 1959, addressed to the Town Clerk, Christchurch.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act 1924, the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, for a street at Houghton Bay Road in the City of Wellington, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said City, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land should, if they have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Tauranga County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the portions of land described in the Schedule hereto:
A plan showing the portions of land proposed to be taken is available for public inspection at the office of the Tauranga County Council, Cameron Road, Tauranga, during forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice. All persons affected by the taking of the land and having well grounded objections thereto are hereby called upon to set forth their objections in writing and send the same to the office of the Tauranga County Council on or before the 4th day of August 1959.

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Oamaru Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of the public street known as Isis Street in the Borough of Oamaru, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Thames Street, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Thames Street, Oamaru.
