Street Closed in the City of Auckland, and Added to Land Held for State Housing Purposes

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the street described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby closed and added to the land now held for State housing purposes described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of street containing 28·4 perches, situated in Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Auckland, Auckland R.D., and adjoining part Allotment 11, District of Tamaki; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 159239 (S.O. 39709) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
SECOND SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Land Held for State Housing Purposes
ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 1 rood 28·8 perches, situated in Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Auckland, Auckland R.D., and being part Allotment 11, District of Tamaki, and being part certificate of title, Volume 764, folio 148, Auckland Land Registry (limited as to parcels).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of June 1959.

Defining the Middle Line of Portion of the Auckland-Kumeu Motorway in Blocks XIV and X, Waitemata Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a motorway desired to be constructed in Blocks XIV and X, Waitemata Survey District, viz, a portion of the Auckland-Kumeu Motorway, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the land situated within the limits shown coloured red on the plan marked P.W.D. 159218 referred to in the Schedule hereto.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
COMMENCING at a point marked 4 miles 57·5 chains on the Auckland-Helensville State Highway No. 6, being the point of termination of the middle line of a portion of the Auckland-Kumeu Motorway, shown on P.W.D. PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 4 acres and 10 perches, situated in Block III, Waitaki Survey District, being part Reserve 1177. All the land in Proclamation No. 568, Canterbury Land Registry.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
Lots 5, 6, 7, and 8, D.P. 7318, being part Section 3, Block VIII, and part Sections 5 and 7, Block XII, Kawhia South Survey District, situated in Waitomo County: Area, 2,147 acres 2 roods, more or less. Shown on plan No. 35/18 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of June 1959.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 30·7 perches.
Being Lot 334, D.P. 43736. Formerly part certificate of title, Volume 1535, folio 66, Auckland Registry.
