PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for police purposes (residence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of June 1959.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Maori Trustee by Mabel Aileen Hoy under and by virtue of Lease No. 2744, Nelson Land Registry, is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government, subject to the right of way created by Lease No. 2744 and to the drainage and incidental rights created by memorandum of transfer No. 26707, Nelson Land Registry; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of June 1959.
