ORDER
-
This order may be cited as the Land and Income Tax Payment Order 1959.
-
Expressions used in this order have the same meanings as in the Land and Income Tax Act 1954.
-
This order applies to—
(a) Land tax for the year of assessment which commenced on the 1st day of April 1959; and
(b) Income tax payable for that year of assessment on income derived (or deemed to have been derived) during the income year which commenced on the 1st day of April 1958 by—
(i) Every subsisting company otherwise than as trustee or agent:
(ii) Every public authority otherwise than as trustee or agent:
(iii) Every Maori authority.

Land tax shall be due and payable in one sum on the 15th day of September 1959.

Income tax to which this order applies shall be due and payable in one sum on the 7th day of February 1960.

Land tax and income tax to which this order applies shall be payable at any office of the Taxes Division, Inland Revenue Department, or at any money-order post office.

Varying a Condition as to Setting Back the Building Line of Portion of Stewart Street in the City of Christchurch, Imposed by Order in Council Under Section 117 of the Public Works Act 1908

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 23rd day of August 1915, published in Gazette, 26 August 1915, Volume II, page 3024, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch as No. 525, exempting Stewart Street, in the City of Christchurch, from the provisions of section 117 of the Public Works Act 1908, subject to a condition as to building line, by varying the condition with regard to the building line imposed by the said Order in Council, so that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on part Lot 11, D.P. 124, certificate of title, Volume 440, folio 33, Canterbury Land Registry, within a distance of 25 ft from the centre line of the said street.
