The Waverley Cemetery Order (No. 2) 1959

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 13th day of May 1959
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Waverley Cemetery Order (No. 2) 1959.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1959. - The powers of appointing and removing trustees for the Waverley Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, are hereby delegated to the Patea County Council.
- The Waverley Cemetery Order 1959* is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
WAVERLEY CEMETERY
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District containing 8 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being part Section 328, Okotuku District, situated in Block VII, Wairoa Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 27, folio 15, Wellington Registry.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street in the City of Wellington Connecting Rosehaugh Avenue and Seaforth Terrace

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Wellington City Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Hastings, and be under the control and management of the Hastings City Council.
