Road Closed and Land Taken in Block XI, Rotoma Survey District, Whakatane County

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the First Schedule hereto; and I also hereby take the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Road Closed
ALL that piece of road situated in Block XI, Rotoma Survey District, Auckland R.D., containing 3 roods 36·8 perches, adjoining or passing through part Lot 39A and parts Lot 39A 3E, Matata Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158903 (S.O. 39416) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green, edged green.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Land Taken
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XI, Rotoma Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158903 (S.O. 39416) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue, edged blue.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
SECTION 3, Block, II, Section 1, Block V, and Section 1, Block VIII, Kumeu Survey District. All the aforesaid sections subject to Maori burial rights as provided in section 11 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1934, Gazette 1955, page 1533.
Also Sections 7 and 8, Block XII, and Section 13, Block XIII, Kaipara Survey District, Section 1, Block I, and Sections 2 and 3, Block VIII, Kumeu Survey District: Total area, 14,876 acres 3 roods 20·6 perches, more or less, shown on plans Nos. 16/10 and 16/11 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plans 36403 and 41117.)

Shown on plan No. 11/21 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red, (S.O. Plans 1062, 14385, 30783.)

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of June 1959.
