In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Bay Clothing Co. Ltd. (in liquidation), a duly incorporated company having its registered office in Wellington.
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 21st day of April 1959, presented to the said Court by Charles Edward Sumner, of Lower Hutt, company representative, and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Wellington on the 3rd day of June 1959 at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Egmont County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute by way of special order the taking of land at Rahotu in order to build a fire station thereon, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk to the said Council situate in Napier Street, Opunake, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Napier Street, Opunake.
The above special order will be confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Opunake, on Tuesday, 14 July 1959.
