Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work to be Crown Land Together With and Subject to Certain Rights

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948 as from the 25th day of May 1959, together with the right of way and sewerage rights created in and by memorandum of transfer No. 384178, and subject to the fencing covenant contained in memorandum of transfer No. 383644, and subject also to the rights of way and other rights created in and by memoranda of transfer Nos. 383644 and 384178, Wellington Land Registry.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road in Block V, Waiaua Survey District, Being Land Required for the Approaches to the New Waiaua Bridge

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Opotiki and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands should, if they have any well grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from 25th day of May 1959.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared Crown land: 31·96 perches.

Being Railway land, being part Lots 23 and 48, D.P. 301, being part Section 21, Block VIII, Mangahao Survey District, and being all the land in Proclamation 5266, Wellington Registry.

Being railway land in Proclamation 3802.

Situated in Block X, Kaipara Survey District, Waitemata County. (S.O. 41379.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 15998 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Limited Speed Zone Declared
