Change of the Purpose of a Reserve and Vesting in the Tapanui Borough Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for quarry purposes to a reserve for rubbish disposal purposes, and further, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Tapanui, in trust, for rubbish disposal purposes.

Licensing Nicholas Products Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Land Below Low-water Mark at Unahi, Awanui Harbour, as a Site for a Shed

———

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Nicholas Products Ltd., of Wellington (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Unahi, Awanui Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10245 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a shed as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).

3. The terms of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of June 1959.
