Amending an Order in Council Appointing Five Non-elective Members of the Rangitikei Catchment Board

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 and section 7 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Amendment Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of August 1949 and published in Gazette, 4 August 1949, Vol. II, page 1625, appointing five non-elective members of the Rangitikei Catchment Board, by deleting “Instructor in Agriculture, Department of Agriculture, Wanganui”, and substituting “District Soil Conservator, Department of Agriculture, Palmerston North”.

The Paeroa College Board of Governors Order 1959

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 13th day of May 1959
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Paeroa College Board of Governors Order 1959.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1959.
  2. The constitution of the Board of Governors of Paeroa College, prescribed by section 90 of the Education Act 1914, is hereby varied so that the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board;
    (b) Seven members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school;
    (c) One member appointed by the Governor-General.

Amending the Tauranga Borough Council Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1958

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 13th day of May 1959
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Tauranga Borough Council Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1958* by adding to clause 2 of the First Schedule thereto the following paragraph:

“(e) Commencing from the New Zealand Electricity Department’s Tauranga substation and proceeding generally north-westerly across Sections 220, 223, 245, 246, and 527, Block XIV, Tauranga Survey District, to meet the line described in paragraph (c) hereof, the said line being shown by means of a red line on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 503 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.”
