Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work at Te Puke
and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the
Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act
1948 as from the
day of
1959.

Approximate areas of the pieces of land declared Crown land:

and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940

Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person
named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing
officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in
column 1 of the said Schedule.

Special Order Made By Rangitaiki Drainage Board Sub-
dividing the Rangitaiki Drainage District and Fixing
Representation

Pursuant to section 2 of the Land Drainage Amendment
Act 1920, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby publishes the
following special order made by the Rangitaiki Drainage
Board.

SPECIAL ORDER
That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it vide section
16 of the Land Drainage Act 1908 and section 2 of the
Land Drainage Amendment Act 1920, the Rangitaiki Drainage
Board hereby resolves by way of special order to divide
the Rangitaiki Drainage District into four subdivisions, viz:
Matata, Tarawera, Rangitaiki, Omataroa, the boundaries of
which are set out in the Schedule hereto—that the represen-
tation of the subdivisions be Matata (1 member), Tarawera
(3 members), Rangitaiki (2 members), Omataroa (1 member).

MATATA SUBDIVISION
All that portion of the Rangitaiki Drainage District situ-
ated in the Matata Riding of the Whakatane County, as
described in Gazette, 11 October 1956, No. 55, page 1399.

TARAWERA SUBDIVISION
All that portion of the Rangitaiki Drainage District situ-
ated in the Tarawera Riding of the Whakatane County, as
described in Gazette, 11 October 1956, No. 55, page 1399.

RANGITAIKI SUBDIVISION
All that portion of the Rangitaiki Drainage District situ-
ated in the Rangitaiki Riding of the Whakatane County, as
described in Gazette, 11 October 1956, No. 55, page 1399.

OMATAROA SUBDIVISION
All that portion of the Rangitaiki Drainage District situ-
ated in the Omataroa Riding of the Whakatane County,
as described in Gazette, 11 October 1956, No. 55, page 1399.

made, and such special order had been duly advertised

Pursuant to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the
Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation
from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said
section, hereby publishes the following special order made by
the Cook County Council on the 26th day of March 1959.

SPECIAL ORDER

In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 3 of
the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Cook County Council
hereby resolves, by way of special order, that

Caper spurge (Euphorbia lathyris),

being a plant included in the First Schedule of the said Act,
is a noxious weed within the County of Cook.
